Following the disasters that happed in kyarumba sub county, Kasese District Western Uganda where many over 4000 people making 1500 households were displaced from their homes due to landslides that left 11 people dead and crops and houses were destroyed, The Kyarumba Banywani Tree Farmers Sacco in partnership with Eco-Trust sent a donation of Cassava flour to the people who stay in camps nowadays.
The donation was welcomed by the local councils of Kyarumba sub-county and was distributed to beneficiaries at Kyarumba Catholic church. Beneficiaries were very happy when they received were receiving flour and at least each household was given 8 kgs of cassava flour.
